GALLONE takes the protection of your data seriously. This policy explains what data is processed when you visit gallone.fr, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act. Visitors in Switzerland benefit from the same safeguards; the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) is also respected.

1. Audience measurement (Umami)

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that works without cookies and does not identify visitors.

  • Data processed: page viewed, referring site, browser and device type, operating system, language, country and region (derived from the IP address, which is not stored), date and time of visit, and certain anonymous clicks (contact email, LinkedIn link, navigation links).
  • Purpose: aggregated traffic statistics to improve the site.
  • Legal basis: GALLONE’s legitimate interest in measuring its site’s audience (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). As the tool is cookie-free and limited to anonymous audience measurement, no prior consent is required.
  • “Do Not Track”: if enabled in your browser, no statistics are recorded.

2. Contact by email

When you write to contact@gallone.fr, your message is sent by your own email software and received in our mailbox.

  • Data: email address, name and message content you choose to send.
  • Purpose: replying to your request and, where relevant, preparing a proposal.
  • Legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request / legitimate interest.
  • Retention: 3 years after the last exchange, unless a contract follows.

3. Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States), which processes technical logs (IP address, date, page requested) needed to run and secure the service. The site links to LinkedIn. When you follow that link you leave gallone.fr and LinkedIn’s privacy policy applies.
